Founded in 2015, Memory Bear 4U has made over 1500 individually handcrafted keepsake memory bear made from your loved ones cherished clothing for you to keep as a lovely memento…….
Instead of keeping your baby's old clothes in a drawer or box tucked away out of sight, we can create a gorgeous keepsake memory bear from their sleep suits and vests.…..
Children grown out of their favourite t shirt, school uniform, football shirt etc let us turn them into a cherished keepsake......
Lost a love one, let us turn, that favourite dress or jacket into something you can look on with fond memories.......
Loved one in the military away on operational duty, turn their spare uniforms into something special to cuddle up to......
Any item of clothing can be used.
If required we can embroider any name, date, picture or message on the bear. We will design this using your ideas and our experience, making your bear truly unique all this is free of charge.
We can also using our heat press put a photo of your loved one one a paw.
Turning them into something for you to treasure and display for years to come.
Your cherished clothing is in safe hands. Each bear is individually handcrafted and we take great care in meticulously planning, cutting and sewing each keepsake to capture your memories.
The turnaround due to demand is now around 4-6 weeks.
The size of the bears are approximately 50cm from tip to toe.

We are and always have been a non profit organisation and pride ourselves on the fact every penny profit we make goes to either charities or organisations to benefit others.

Who's, who at memory bear 4u
In 2014 I was diagnosed with various illnesses and conditions that would change my life for ever, my consultant a very straight talking man said to me 'your buggered', he informed me I would never be able work again and advised me to get a hobby to keep my mind and body going. I took up sewing and just before fathers day 2015 me and the kids made their dad, my husband Darren a bear (picture is in the gallery lol) I put the finished bear on Facebook and was asked to make another for someone who had recently lost a loved one. The rest they say is history. In 2015 both Darren, who had, had to give up work and become my full time carer, and I decided to form Memory Bear 4U as a non profit organisation helping others when and if we could. Some days I struggle to make any bears due to my health but have found when I can it is the most rewarding thing I have ever done and will continue to do so until my health stops me.
As an ex soldier of some 18 years I never thought I would spend my days designing embroidery patterns for Memory Bears but here I am. Kerry is my hero watching her cope with her illnesses and still continue to help people is amazing. If I'm able to help her in some small way create bears and help other people too this will make me just as proud of anything else I have ever done in my life.
