RIVERSIDE SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS SCHOOL

In February 2016 we were lucky enough to be able to purchase a bespoke sports strip for a local Special Educational Needs School which our son Jack attended.  They had not had a new strip for a number of years and we thought they deserved our help!

The day we took the strip to the school was pretty emotional to say the least with both students and teachers sheading tears (not to mention Darren and I but don't tell him lol), this is the reason we do the bears for days like this, to be able to give a little back.

Example We also made them a mascot bear with a smaller version given as a prize to the pupil who chose the name of the mascot bear.  Names were drawn at random with young Rebecca Woods winning with the name 'Sparky' (fate would have it that is what Darren called his Nana!)  Sparky now has pride of place in the reception area of the school.

A few days later we was gifted from the school one of the shirts signed by every pupil and member of staff, it now has pride of place in the sewing room!
